Genshin Impact, mobile, News, PC, PS4, PS5

Genshin Impact has undoubtedly been one of the biggest launches of 2020, gaining a whopping 40 million players by the end of the year. miHoYo has ensured that the players are kept engaged by regularly adding new content to the game ranging from new characters to items, weapons, and regions.

The last major update that was released was the 1.4 Update and it added a new character Rosaria, brought back Venti, and introduced an all-new Hangouts event. Soon after that, the preparations for the 1.5 Update started, with miHoYo organizing the beta testing for the update.

That however, didn’t go as per plans as players started leaking content from the 1.5 Update. This led to almost the entire update being leaked before launch. We already got to know that the update will be featuring Eula and Yanfei and a brand new housing system. However, there is more to come after the 1.5 Update.

Genshin Impact 1.6 Leaks: Inazuma Map Leaked, Location Likely Changed

If you have been playing the game for a while, you might have heard of the Inazuma region. This is one of the highly awaited regions in the game, since it will also mark the arrival of the Dendro characters, which will include Baizhu and Yaoyao.

After much speculation, it was leaked in the past few days that the 1.6 Update will be including the Inazuma region. Now, another leak has surfaced regarding the Inazuma region which suggests that the location of the region has been changed.

The leak comes from popular Genshin leaker Lumie and Velturify, and it states that the Inazuma region is now located behind the Guyun Stone Forest. This in reference to the location of the Inazuma region in the closed beta testing, and the resemblances between the two areas confirm that it is indeed the Inazuma region.

Considering that closed beta testing almost never resembles the final game, we can expect a lot more of these changes to be implemented in the final update. What remains to be seen is whether the Inazuma region actually ends up being in the 1.6 Update.
