Genshin Impact 1.5 leaks have surfaced again, from data miners Honey Impact and Project Celestia, detailing two new events, the Energy Amplifier which could let us get a free 4* character, and the Misty Dungeon – here’s what we know.
Genshin Impact – Energy Amplifier event
In the event, Hosseini, a researcher from the Sumeru region, will give players the Divination Disc. In order to gather Irminsul Fruit Fragments. Players will need to complete Domains, Twisted Realms, and Places of Interest to obtain Fractured Fruit Data. These can be exchanged in the Event shop for rewards.
During the event, players will be able to use the Energy Amplifier for buffs. These include simple DMG buffs to very specific things. The Energy Amplifier has 11 slots, and each slot can contain a Irminsul Fruit Fragment. The buffs we get are determined by which fragments we put in the slots. However, the buffs will only activate after you’ve revitalized the Fragments with Motive Force.

You gain Motive Force as you participate in the event, and the higher your characters’ levels, the more Motive Force you get. You can also borrow up to three characters from your friends to increase the Motive Force of your Energy Amplifier.
Moreover, all the dungeons of the event can be played in co-op. There are also more powerful Irminsul Fruit Fragments called Fractured Fruit Shard, and you’ll only be able to place one of these on your Energy Amplifier slots.
Lastly, similarly to past events where we could obtain a 4* character by completing it, Genshin Impact players will be able to obtain Diona for free in the Energy Amplifier event. It’s likely she will play a key role in the event. Similarly to Fischl in Unreconciled Stars.

Battlefront: Misty Dungeon
Overall, this is a dungeon under a time-limit, with several Trials and Challenges. The main goal will be to unlock the Final Challenge by activating Ancient Runes. Each Trial contains three deactivated Ancient Runes. Each time you complete a Trial, its Ancient Rune will activate, and we’ll unlock the Final Challenge.

As we keep completing Trials, we’ll also be able to take on Challenges for bonuses. This will include: The Rejuvenation challenge, to get all the party revived and fully healed. The Plunder challenge, to obtain an ATK boost. The Godspeed challenge for a speed boost. And an Everlasting challenge to greatly increase the time remaining.
When are these events coming to Genshin Impact?

As always, you should keep in mind that while this is data mined info and verified, it’s not official yet. Nothing guarantees miHoYo will include the same content in the official version of the game. Even if it does, some changes are bound to happen until the release of Genshin Impact 1.5 on April 27. Moreover, we still don’t know if these will be in the first or second half of 1.5. We will know soon though, with the Ver 1.5 Sneak Peek livestream, which should be announced in the next few days.
Personally speaking, I’ve been saying since the Beta in early 2020 that Genshin Impact is an incredible game, but definitely would benefit from having more varied content. Right now, everything is DPS check DPS check. However, 1.5 could change that if we get the events above and everything leaked so far, alongside the Homeworld system.
Genshin Impact is available on PC, PS4, and mobile. A PS5 version is coming soon, and a Switch version got announced, but with no release date estimate.
