The season to be jolly is fast approaching and nothing says Christmas quite like Gary Busey in a Santa hat! The legendary actor has taken to the mic to loan his voice to Killing Floor 2’s winter update, Twisted Christmas: Season’s Beatings.
74-year-old Busey will be playing a new purchasable character called Badass Santa in the upcoming update and can be seen in the trailer reciting many of Father Christmas’ classic lines in a threatening voice. During the trailer, he states that he had never considered Santa to be a badass, but seems quite happy about the thought of playing the character in this way. There will be a slew of festive quips for players to enjoy mid-match and Busey will also advise players on loadout choices in between rounds.
Killing Floor 2’s Twisted Christmas: Season’s Beatings’ gift to fans doesn’t just include Gary Busey though. There will also be a new snow-covered maps which will take players through Santa’s workshop and a fan-favorite community map called Shopping Spree. On top of this four new weapons will be available to inflict merriment on opponents including an M32 grenade launcher and Krampus’ axe.
The ever-changing Killing Floor 2 is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Linux and PC. Those looking to get into the festive spirit through the Twisted Christmas: Season’s Beatings beta are advised to keep an eye on the game’s Steam page for upcoming information. The update does not currently have a concrete release date, but it’s safe to assume that we’ll be seeing it soon.
