Fortnite’s Slurp Juice Is Receiving an Overhaul in the Next Patch

An interesting development will occur in the next 5.10 update for Fortnite: Battle Royale, and that comes in the form of a change to The Slurp Juice. Currently, it gives out 25 HP and 25 shield, but it will soon be revamped to give out more health or shield.

Hooray, I hear you cry! The new version will give out 75 points of healing but will prioritize your hit points first before adding onto your shield. This means if you’re at 25 health you’ll be able to heal fully with the Slurp Juice but won’t receive any bonuses to your shield.

This all started with a Fortnite fan on Reddit who shared an idea on how they wanted the Slurp Juice to work and Design Lead Eric Williamson commented:

“In 5.10 Slurp will give 75 points (2hp/s), but prioritize HP first. If HP is full it’ll go to Shield.”

So, with all being good, we should expect to see this new slurp juice change in the next 5.10 update.
