Fortnite update (today, June 10) brings some changes on the PS4, PS5, and Android servers, which makes the game out of reach on the aforementioned platforms for a few hours.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 was launched recently, and similar to the arrival of every new season, it has caused some inevitable problems in the game, which need to be fixed by server maintenance and updates.

Yesterday, Epic Games started server maintenance on PC, and today, the same fixes will be implemented to the PS4, PS5, and Android servers of the game.

When Does the Maintenance Begin?

The server maintenance Fortnite update (today, June 10) has just started on PS4, PS5, and Android. Unfortunately, Epic Games didn’t share anything about the possible time of maintenance, but at most, it shouldn’t be any longer than a few hours.

What Issues Will Be Addressed by the Maintenance?

According to the official Twitter account of Fortnite Status, the maintenance will address the issues below:

  • Pre-Lobby loading screen issue
  • The issue negatively impacting Bows in Creative and Save The World
  • The issue preventing a pop-up notification when receiving a request to join a private party

When Will the Update Be Out?

According to Epic Games, Fortnite will receive an update to fix the aforementioned issues once all platforms get the server maintenance fixes.

Fortnite is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The iOS version is still out of reach, however, you can play the game on Android devices by downloading it through Epic Games’ official website. Note that you should do it at your own risk as the game is no longer a Google Play-approved application.
