Once again, Thanos is returning to Fortnite via the Thanos Cup challenge. And players will once again get to enjoy the Mad Titan’s skin and the powers of Infinity Gauntlet.
The last time we saw Thanos in playable mode was back in 2019 when it was added to celebrate the release of Avengers Endgame.
Once again, he’s back in the game to create chaos across the island. Here’s how you can take part in the challenge.

Thanos Skin In Fortnite Item Shop
For the very first time, Thanos is arriving in the Fortnite Item Shop at 8 PM ET on June 26, 2021. On unlocking this skin, you can play as the Mad Titan himself equipping the Infinity Gauntlet Back Bling inspired by Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame – with all six Infinity Stones.
So those who do not win the skin in Thanos Cup can always get it later from the Item Shop.
How To Get Thanos Skin And Infinity Gauntlet In Fortnite Thanos Cup?
But before the Thanos skin arrives in the Item Shop, players will get an opportunity to get his Outfit and Back Bling first by competing in the Thanos Cup.
To register in the Fortnite Thanos Cup, you must have an Epic Account at level 30 and 2FA enabled on your account.
To participate in the challenge, you need to collaborate with your Duos partner and compete in up to 10 total matches in 3 hours to earn as many points as you can.
The top-performing teams in each region will earn the Thanos Outfit and Back Bling inspired by Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame.
Any player who earns a total of 8 total, will receive the Thanos Watches! Spray. However, Epic Games notes that it may take several days before this prize is rewarded to all players.
Fortnite Thanos Cup Date And Time:
The event will begin on June 21, 2021. As of now, Epic Games has not mentioned the exact start time for the challenge but it could be somewhere around midnight. But this is just our assumption at the moment so we shall update this article when we get a concrete idea of the start time.

The Fortnite Thanos Cup is not to be confused with the special map in Fortnite Creative that we came across recently where players could get Thanos skin and an Infinity Gauntlet.
That’s because it had limited abilities in that game mode. However, the Thanos Cup is the real deal where any player who earns sufficient points, can unlock the skin.
