Going into E3 2018, one of the most persistent rumors that Nintendo was expected to share was the news that the massively-popular Fortnite would be coming to the system. Sure enough, the game launched that day for the system, and the Switch player base for Fortnite is already off to an incredibly good start, according to Nintendo.

Nintendo has revealed that just one day after the game’s surprise launch on Nintendo Switch, Fornite has already surpassed over two million downloads on the system when it debuted in the midst of the company’s Nintendo Direct.

While this shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise given that Fortnite already has a player base now in the hundreds of millions, the game already seems to be off to an incredibly good start on Nintendo Switch after just one day, and it’s only sure to grow in the coming months. The Switch version, as detailed by Epic Games, also features crossplay with Xbox One, PC, Mac, and iOS users, though notably is unable to be supported against those on PS4.

Fortnite is now available on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, Mac, iOS, and will also be coming to Android sometime later this summer.
