With the fresh launch of Respawn Entertainment’s Jedi: Fallen Order, not only did Imperial Stormtrooper’s show up at last night’s X019 event, but they’ve also arrived in Fortnite for a limited time. Let’s just hope their aim isn’t as bad as the films make out.

Epic Games has announced that the Imperial Stormtrooper character skin is now available for a limited time with two ways being available to grab it. There’s an announcement trailer available below which introduces the arrival of the playable skin.

Players who wish to purchase the skin can do so by heading over to the Fortnite Item Shop and looking for the Imperial Stormtrooper Outfit. This will cost the player 1,500 V-Bucks — the currency used in Fortnite. Alternatively, if you purchase Respawn Entertainment’s Jedi: Fallen Order on PC through the Epic Games Store, you’ll automatically gain the skin for free.

If you do wind up buying the skin in Fortnite, then realize you want to buy Jedi: Fallen Order on the Epic Games Store afterward, you’ll find 1,500 V-Bucks being granted to your account as a type of refund.

Purchasing the skin through the Item Shop will only be available until November 17 as stated on the official blog post. However, the FAQ also seems to say that the skin will be available “from time to time” so there’s a chance it’ll be available in the future. The offer of getting the skin through purchasing Jedi: Fallen Order will be available until November 30.

Fortnite is available for free on pretty much everything, meanwhile, Jedi: Fallen Order is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. If you’re waiting on our review, why not give our preview a nose?
