The infamous Rapid SMG is back in Fortnite, so we’ve put together a guide with everything you need to know about the weapon.

Where To Get The Rapid SMG
Players shouldn’t have any issues finding the unvaulted Rapid SMG as it can be obtained anywhere across the Battle Royale map. Make sure you check out all the floor and chest loot to find the Rapid SMG.
If you come across any Rapid SMG variant ranging from common to epic, you’ll be able to upgrade it at one of the 40 NPCs around the map. However, make sure you’ve got some gold bars to spend as the upgrades aren’t free.
Rapid SMG Stats
There are a total of 5 different Rapid SMG variants that can be found in Fortnite, ranging from common to legendary. Here are the stats for each variant:
Common Rapid SMG:

- Damage – 13
- Fire Rate – 15.0

Uncommon Rapid SMG:

When Does Fortnite Season 6 Start?
