Since it released last year, Epic Games’ Fortnite has continued to grow as one of the most popular games on the planet, and it should come as no surprise that the game is reaching some big milestones in terms of viewership through streaming and video.

YouTube’s Global Head of VR/AR and Gaming Ryan Wyatt has revealed that Fortnite is indeed a global sensation, as the game has reached several milestones of YouTube viewership, on top of its already intimidating presence on Twitch.

Specifically, Wyatt stated that Fortnite has broken the record for the most amount of videos uploaded for a specific game in one month, while the game also also earned the designation of reaching the highest number of concurrent viewers for a single gaming livestream, following a stream this week from YouTuber elrbuiusOMG of a tournament with several notable Spanish players of the game across YouTube that drew in over 1.1 million viewers concurrently.

Coming off the buzz of its Twitch stream last week with Drake, Fortnite is only continuing to grow bigger and bigger, especially with the recent release of its mobile version on iOS that has expanded the game’s reach to an even wider audience than before.

Fortnite is available now on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and iOS.
