Fortnite: Battle Royale‘s latest Dev Update should please players as developers promise to address several recent issues in the game, including outages, weapon balancing and ongoing improvements to the game and its quality of life.

The video begins by addressing the service outage that caused extended downtime to the game; the developers apologize for such interruptions and promise to address specific details about the situation in the near future.

Next, sniper and crossbow swap times have been rolled back, but there are no plans to change any of the other weapons in this regard. Developers promise to keep a close eye on user feedback to determine what balancing changes might need to be made to weapons in the future.

Finally, the developer addresses quality of life updates: controller scheme updates, ease of trap identification and a board to track bugs, glitches, and other issues throughout the game. They promise ongoing attentiveness to issues that may prevent themselves in the game and improve the overall experience for players as the game continues to grow and evolve.
