For the Fourth Consecutive Week, Crash Bandicoot Comes in at First in Weekly UK Sales

For the 29th week of the year ending on July 21, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is once again the winner and still champion of the weekly UK sales chart.

This is the fourth consecutive week that Crash Bandicoot has taken the top spot in UK Sales since debuting on Switch and Xbox One late last month. None of July’s releases thus far have been able to topple Activision’s remastered collection of platformers. If Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy comes in first again next week, then it will have swept the month.

As for what followed it this week, LEGO The Incredibles once again came in at second place and only saw a 7% decline from last week. Sea of Thieves, Minecraft: Xbox Edition, and Forza Horizon 3 all cracked the top 6 after having been completely out of the top 40 in the week prior, which is likely attributed to Prime Day sales that occurred last week.

The biggest new release of the week was Sonic Mania Plus which debuted at number 5 on the sales chart. Meanwhile, Octopath Traveler plummeted from third to sixteenth, though this is likely due in part to the reported shortages of the game that have been seen in many parts of the world.
