Each year, football (soccer in the USA) and gaming fans from around the world anticipate the newest entry in SEGA’s Football Manager series almost as much as FIFA. Today, developer Sports Interactive announced Football Manager 2019, which will release for PC on November 2, and it actually comes with quite a few interesting changes.

Manager Man, a character on the cover of each entry since Football Manager 2005 and even represented the series in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, is no longer on the cover. The cover now focuses on a new manager who is walking out of a tunnel with his players, and this new feeling also seeps over into the series branding and UI. Outside of some yet to be revealed features, Football Manager 2019 also features the DFL Bundesliga license, a first for the series.

Those who pre-order will get a 10% discount, but will also gain access to a Beta version. The Football Manager 2019 Beta will begin two weeks before launch, and save data from it will carry over to the full game. This year’s entry will also be receiving Touch and Mobile versions at launch.

You can see the game’s reveal trailer below, which introduces players to this new manager and premise, alongside its box art below. Football Manager 2019 for PC and its mobile counterparts are poised to release on November 2.
