The official Final Fantasy Twitter account announced that Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remaster was delayed from January 2020 to Summer 2020. The development team took this decision to have “some extra time to make final adjustments to the game to make this the best experience possible”. The message also thanks fans for all their support until now.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition is coming to PS4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android devices. The most appealing aspect of FFCC Remaster is that it’ll be cross-save and cross-play between all these platforms. This means you’ll be able to play with friends on PS4 even if you’re on Switch, etc.

Personally speaking, I kinda liked the original game on Gamecube but it had its share of super frustrating problems, and I ended up stopping my adventure near the ending, with that riddle thing you had to solve in the desert stages. It was also pretty obvious the game definitely wasn’t meant to be cleared solo. Being rich yourself to have one Gamecube plus a GBA plus the link cable AND having three other friends with the same stuff just wasn’t something possible for most people. Even if the original game wasn’t that awesome, just the fact that you’ll be able to cross-play with friends makes this remaster kindof appealing.
