Square Enix on March 2 revealed brand new details for Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade on PS5 and Yuffie Kisaragi. Most notably, Yuffie’s official profile was revealed, alongside new screenshots. Part of the information was shared by the Final Fantasy VII Remake official English Twitter. However, the Japanese press release had even more details. On Yuffie’s gameplay as well. Yuffie Kisaragi Japanese Profile
Yuffie Kisaragi is one of the members of Wutai’s special operations force known as Shinobi. She calls herself the beautiful ninja and the great Materia hunter. Controlling a huge shuriken, Yuffie confuses and destroys her enemies with agile moves. Her objective is to save her homeland, which is currently decrepit after its defeat in the war against Shinra. Yuffie is infiltrating Midgar, acting under orders from the Wutai interim government.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake on PS5 – Additional details on Yuffie and her Gameplay
Firstly, Yuffie is specialized in both short-range battles and long-ranged attacks. Secondly, thanks to her shuriken and ninjutsu, players will be able to enjoy the FF7R battle system in an exciting, different way than with the other characters in the base game.
Lastly, Yuffie has several field exploration actions she can use. She can throw her shuriken to destroy and retrieve items in Shinra Boxes from afar. She can also trigger gimmicks and mechanisms from afar with her shuriken. Lastly, she can also wall run on wire mesh structures and do other ninja-like actions.
Yuffie is one of the most beloved characters of the original Final Fantasy VII on PS1. Several Yuffie fans have already started sharing cosplays to celebrate her return in the Remake. The Yuffie Episode in Final Fantasu VII Remake Intergrade will be two Chapters long.
Square Enix will launch Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade worldwide on June 10, 2021, exclusively on PS5.
