Today during the Ubisoft Forward presentation, the company officially released the Far Cry 6 trailer that leaked earlier this week. Following the showcase, Ubisoft has posted the Collector’s Edition for Far Cry 6, and it is on-brand, to say the least.
The Far Cry 6 Collector’s Edition which is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC with the piece da resistance being a flamethrower replica. Alongside it, includes an artbook, sticker set, exclusive steelbook, sound selection, keyring, a map of Yara where the game takes place, and the Ultimate Edition of the game. The Ultimate Edition has the Ultimate Pack which gives players three additional cosmetics and the Season Pass. The Season Pass will have at least three DLC packs following the game’s launch. An instruction manual on how to build the flamethrower as well as a display stand is also included.
The Collector’s Edition is exclusive to the Ubisoft Store for $199.99. There are three other editions that players can choose from being the Ultimate, Gold, and Standard edition. The Gold Edition includes a steelbook (different from the Collector’s Edition) as well as the season pass. You can pre-order the Gold Edition of Far Cry 6 right now on Amazon.
For those who aren’t planning on picking up either the Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5 at launch this holiday, Far Cry 6 will be free to upgrade from PlayStation 4 and Xbox One to next-gen systems for free giving you immediate access when you eventually make the jump forward.
Far Cry 6 will release on February 18, 2021, on Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Google Stadia, and PC.
