At this point it’s fairly common knowledge that when Far Cry 5 launches next week, fans will be able to command a friendly companion named Boomer to help disarm and take out enemies in a pinch. Now, developer Ubisoft has released a brand new, live-action trailer for the first-person shooter, this time focusing on the illustrious good boy himself.

The nearly two minute trailer features sad puppy watching his owner play Far Cry 5, ignoring him while doing so of course, only to have the owner show up later with a soft, squeaky assault rifle for the dog to play with, obviously inspired by Boomer from the game. You can, as always, check out the trailer at the end of the article.

In other Far Cry 5 news, today the trophy list for the game was revealed, without spoiling any story points of course. A few days ago it was revealed that the game will feature microtransactions, though they will likely function in a similar way to Assassin’s Creed Origins with only cosmetic use.

Far Cry 5 is set to launch on March 27, 2018, and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
