Devolver Digital’s E3 Direct revealed a few new indie games coming this year and the next. The first game they showed off was Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. The game has you competing with 99 other players in a chaotic race through an obstacle course that looks straight out of your favorite Japanese game show. Check out the trailer below.

Fall Guys looks appropriately wacky, given the concept. The cutesy graphics makes the mayhem that much more fun. The trailer shows off some of the obstacles you might encounter. From a sumo fighter chicken to competing skateboards to a human Plinko board, this looks like it could be a fun addition to your game library.

Players who aren’t interested in running the rat race on their can instead take own the game’s cooperative mode. This puts you on a team that’s fighting to be the first complete the course. Personally, I think this looks like the way I’ll be playing as using your teammates to get through various obstacles looks like a fun challenge.

It is not clear from the video or the game’s site if you can play the game offline with friends. It seems like a mode that makes sense. That said, we won’t know for sure until the team at Mediatonic releases more details. You can be sure that we’ll have it here on Dualshockers along with all the other news coming out of E3 this week.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is coming to PC and PS4 in 2020.
