We have seen Nintendo honor Legend of Zelda characters from the high seas to the old classics, and now, with the fourth installment of Nintendo’s Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition Character Trailer series, we get a chance to see some moves from the cast of Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks.

We open our trailer with perhaps the strangest addition to the Hyrule Warrior roster: Agitha. Yeah, Agitha–that weird bug girl from Twilight Princess with really big wallets. With a lolita-style dress and parasol in hand, she jumps into battle with an army of frankly ridiculously large bugs at her command. It must be pheromones or something, I guess.

Then we get to Zant–everyone’s favorite really strange contortionist–as he slices and dices through waves of enemies with his characteristic weird, maniacal laughter. Midna follows soon after in her imp form, charging through enemies with her Twili Wolf construct; her Twili form follows soon after, showcasing some really awesome moves and a charming little pet-pet with her Twili Wolf companion.

And then there’s the ghosts–that’s right, the ghosts. Zelda’s ghosty form from Spirit Tracks possesses her armor Elric-style and blasts through enemies with sword, shield, and Triforce light before ending the trailer with a cute little pose on the shoulder of her armor.

Look forward to seeing Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition come to the Switch on May 18, 2018. It will feature a roster of over 25 characters both old and new. You can check out our review of both Hyrule Warriors for the Wii-U and Hyrule Warriors Legends on the 3DS. You can also preorder your copy of Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition on Amazon here.
