Today Atlus released a brand new batch of artwork and screenshots of the upcoming 3DS dungeon-crawling JRPG Etrian Odyssey X.

The first assets are new pieces of artwork for the new hero class, showing alternate colors.

On top of that, we get to see a few relevant NPCs, Broto, Enrika, Aterinde, and her wolf, Kurogane Jr. Last, but not least, we see quite a few brand new monsters that will make an appearance into the game, including both artwork and screenshots.

Etrian Odyssey X will be a fond farewell from the series to the 3DS platform, and at the moment we don’t know what will happen afterward for the franchise. Whether it’ll just move to the Switch or maybe will broaden to other platforms, remains to be seen.

You can check out the images below. If you want to see more, you can enjoy the announcement trailer and a previous batch of screenshots.

Etrian Odyssey X will be released on August 2nd, 2018 in Japan, exclusively for 3DS. No western release has been announced by Atlus USA so far.
