Endless Space 2 Receives Galactic Starcraft Update and Free Weekend

Amplitude Studios and SEGA released Endless Space 2 on PC back in May. Since then, they have been supporting the title with a steady stream of updates. The developers released the Galactic Starcraft update today for free, adding a ton of new content, and are even holding a free weekend for the title on PC.

For those curious about what the Galactic Starcraft update brings to Endless Space 2, Amplitude Studios said in includes a revamped diplomacy system, improved alliances tools, new pirate lairs, new orbital stations, some visual improvements to the endgame, new in-game events, and a hall of fame that keeps track of players’ performances in the campaign.

Players can currently try out Endless Space 2 for free on Steam and will be able to do so until 10am PST on November 20. Both the Standard and Digital Deluxe Edition of Endless Space 2 are also discounted by 50% this weekend if players decide to pick them up. The developers are also holding a “Play-to-win Community Challenge” where a future free DLC will include more and more content more and more people try Endless Space 2 out during its free weekend.
