Tomorrow, Piranha Bytes, known for the Gothic and Risen series, and THQ Nordic will release ELEX on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. In anticipation of its release, a launch trailer was released today that showcases the different factions players can join and how the game splices both traditional fantasy and sci-fi elements to create something unique.

For those of you who don’t know, ELEX is a self-proclaimed Dark Souls-esque open world RPG that features tough, methodical combat. That being said, it spices things up by having an open-world that is almost completely open to the player at all times, especially through the use of the jetpack, and by being set in an unique universe that blends both sci-fi and fantasy elements together. Players can also join one of three factions, all of which have different playstyles and quests exclusive to them.

The game costs $59.99, though a Collector’s Edition will also be available for $120 that includes base game, its manual, the official artbook and soundtrack,, a cloth map showing the game’s world Magalan, a 2-inch amulet shaped like combat drone, and a 10-inch figurine of an Alb Mage.
