I will admit that I have a weak spot for those Japanese “overview” trailers that basically take over five minutes to show you everything there is to see about a game, and that’s exactly what the video released today by Koei Tecmo about Dynasty Warriors 9 is all about.
The trailer shows basically every single aspect of gameplay and almost all features that we have seen before for the game, from exploring the open world, fighting, the story, the housing system, the map, progression, gathering, crafting and even hunting wildlife.
It really seems to be genuinely a massive game and I honestly can’t wait to sink my teeth into it.

Dynasty Warriors 9 will launch in Japan on February 8th, exclusively for PS4, while the western release will happen just a few days later, on February 13th. In the west, we’ll also get two additional platforms, as the game is will hit the shelves for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
