Today Atlus and Vanillaware released a new batch of screenshots of the upcoming Dragon’s Crown remaster Dragon’s Crown Pro.

The screenshots showcase several elements of the game, starting from two bosses that we will encounter, and that will be familiar to fans of the original game, the Chimera and the Wraith.

We also get to see several lovely clean backgrounds of the game’s dungeons, that serve as the main stages where we’ll fight hordes of enemies in side-scrolling battle action.

Another pair of screenshots showcase the game’s rune magic system, that lets characters combine three different symbols to unleash devastating or useful effects, like the flying carpet. Another element shown is the simple puzzles that will appear in some of the stages.

Treasure hunting, appraisal, an equipping, alongside the feasts that we can partake at the end of a level crown the whole thing.

You can check the screenshots out in the gallery below. You can also check out a trailer showing the Amazon, another focused on the Elf, and a third video showcasing spiffy multiplayer gameplay.

Dragon’s Crown Pro will release in Japan on February 8th, 2018 exclusively for PS4. For the moment, no western release has been announced, so we have to wait longer to see whether it’ll come to North America and Europe or not.
