Dragon Ball FighterZ Gets Story Teaser Trailer Introducing New Character ‘Android 21’

Bandai Namco released a new trailer for the Arc System Works developer 2D fighting game, Dragon Ball FighterZ, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC in February 2018.

After being revealed in this month’s V-Jump magazine, players are new shown a few cutscenes of the new original character supervised by Akira Toriyama, Android 21. Little is known about the overall story arc and issues that the cast of Dragon Ball will face, but if it goes by what this teaser trailer is showing, we can expect it to be epic.

Additionally, the trailer shows scenes of Yamcha and Tien who are also new characters to the roster of Dragon Ball fighters.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is published by Bandai Namco, but is in development by Arc System Works, who accel at creating 2D and 2.5D fighting games. Dragon Ball FighterZ is looking like one of the most promising Dragon Ball games of the past few years, with the most recent tournament style games being on the handheld and lacking deep controls and characters.

In case you missed the recent Dragon Ball FighterZ news, Bandai Namco revealed four new fighters in August including, Android 16, Android 18Super Saiyan Blue Goku, and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta. Earlier this summer Bandai Namco announced that they’d be open to porting the game to the Switchif demand is high enough.
