Dragon Ball FighterZ has made huge waves in the fighting game community since its launch back in late January. We have known that both Bardock and Broly would be coming to the game as DLC characters, but have not gotten an in-game glimpse of them before today. Bandai Namco Entertainment put out two very short teasers today for both Bardock and Broly giving us a tiny glimpse of them in-game.
The trailers are quite short, with both being less than fifteen seconds and not showing any fighting. That being said, we do see what their entrances look like and get a nice glimpse of their gorgeous in-game models. No release date for either character was shared at this time, but Arc System Works and Bandai Namco Entertainment promise to deliver that news soon.
For those of you who don’t know, Bardock is actually Goku’s father and first appeared in a TV special titled Dragon Ball Z: Bardock – Father of Goku. Meanwhile, Broly is an ultra-powerful Legendary Super Saiyan that gained an inherent hatred for Goku shortly after birth as he cried their entire time they were next to each other in the delivery room on Planet Vegeta. Yes, really; it is a stupid motivation. That being said, he is a really badass looking character, and I’m glad to see that he’s being added to the game.
