Back in 2017, Divinity: Original Sin 2 swept critics off their feet and was met with glowing review scores from all over the internet. Even though the founder of the development studio stated that he was ready to make new stuff, the game will still be getting additions over the course of 2019.
Yesterday, the first of many “Gift Bags” was released. Larian Studios made sure to point out that these gift bags were different from loot boxes. These bags will include new character customization options such as facial features, entirely new faces, and hairstyles that you can then use in your campaign playthrough.
The second gift bag will come out sometime later this year, Larian Studios has not given it an official release date as of yet. The development studio stated that the second gift bag will include even more customization options and other contents that is “inspired by our modding community.” The development studio is creating the new content with two other European developers, Fools Theory and Anshar Studios.
While only two have been commented on, the developers behind Divinity: Original Sin 2 have stated that there will be even more gift bags added as free updates coming throughout the rest of the year, however, they are keeping the details on what’s included to themselves for the time being.
