The Japanese arm of Sony Interactive Entertainment released its weekly sales chart for PS4 digital downloads, related to theperiod between September 4th and September 10th.

This week is rather interesting as it sees the debut of Bungie’s Destiny 2. Check out the chart below.

  1. Destiny 2
  2. Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry
  3. Everybody’s Golf
  4. Dragon Quest III
  5. Titanfall 2
  6. Resident Evil Revelation: Unveiled Edition
  7. Undertale
  8. Dragon Quest II
  9. NieR: Automata
  10. Minecraft: PlayStation 4 Edition
  11. Dragon Quest X All in One Package
  12. ACA Arcade Archives: Ninja Warriors
  13. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate
  14. Dishonored 2
  15. Dragon Quest XI
  16. Battlefield 4 Premium Edition
  17. Dragon Quest
  18. Dishonored HD
  19. Kaiji VR: Zetsubo no Tekkotsu Watari
  20. Earth Defense Force 4.1: Shadow of New Despair

Destiny 2 is of course at the top, while a stray Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry pushes (thanks to a whopping 90% discount) Everybody’s Golf down to third place after a week at the top.

Titanfall 2 returns to the top-5 thanks to a sizable 50% discount, while Dragon Quest XI appears to have ran out of momentum, falling out of the top-10 for the first time.

Following its top-20 on Wednesday, Media Create also released its weekly analysis for the retail market. We learn that the 50, 263 copies sold by Destiny 2 are 78.30% of its initial shipment, which isn’t either terrible or stellar. Sales were roughly one third of the debut sales of Destiny, which moved about 141,000 copies on its first week.

That being said, Media Create argues that since this is an online-only game, there will be more full game downloads than usual. On top of that, only the PS4 version was sold at retail, and there was no bundle like the one the original had.
