Since its release back in September, Bungie has been adding and implementing plenty of new features, missions, and more into Destiny 2, and now for PS4 owners that have yet to take the plunge and become a Guardian, you’ll get the opportunity to do just that (for free) starting this weekend.
Over on the PlayStation Blog, Bungie has announced that PS4 owners will be getting a free weekend with Destiny 2, with the weekend event itself set to run from June 29th, 2018 at 12:01am PT, and will be running through Monday, July 2nd, 2018 at 10am PT.
During the free weekend, PS4 owners will be able to download and play a free trial of Destiny 2, with the demo itself to include access to the full campaign, create your own character and earn weapons and gear, and also experience all of the game’s updates and changes since its debut last September. Additionally, all progress and gear that players earn during the free trial will carry over for players that decide to purchase the full game.
