How to Get the Destiny 2 Corrupted Key Codes

Corrupted Key Codes are random drops in Destiny 2, but you won’t get them until you finish the Path of the Splicer VI quest and activate the Corrupted Access for Splicer Gauntlet.

Unfortunately, the drop rate of Corrupted Key Codes is very low and you can do nothing to increase it. However, if you unlock the Vulnerability Exploit 1-2-3 upgrade for the Splicer Gauntlet, you will be able to increase the value of Corrupted chest items. Doing this step is optional, but at least it will help you to get worthy items after grinding for Corrupted Key Codes.

You can get Corrupted Key Code drops from any activity, including Expunge, Nightfall, Strikes, and Override. Based on the community experience, the type of enemy you kill is more important than the number of eliminations for getting Corrupted Key Codes. It might take you a few hours of grinding to get a Corrupted Key Code, but there’s no other way.

Destiny 2 is now available for free on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
