One of the game directors behind Destiny 2, Christopher Barrett, took to Twitter to tease some of the upcoming changes the team over at Bungie is looking to make going into 2018.

First, the team is adding some new seasonal armor ornaments, as well as some themed Ghosts, Sparrows, Ships, and Shaders that’ll coincide with upcoming Iron Banner and Faction Rally events.

Second, the quality of weapons players can acquire from Raids is going to increase. Making it so that players won’t have to worry about weapons they acquire from the Raid being weaker than items they might already have. Barrett said, ” the most difficult activities should be the most rewarding.”

Furthermore, Barrett mentioned growing concerns about the Eververse among players. Bungie will be working hard to address players’ concerns with loot crates. Finally, he mentions that they’re working on short term and long term goals in the works for growing concerns involving Destiny 2’s vault. The place where players can store their hard-earned weapons and armor.

In other Destiny 2 news, you can check out the game’s Christmas event going on right now. Earlier this week, Activision announced that Call of Duty: WWII and Destiny 2 were the top-selling games in 2017.

Destiny 2 is available right now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
