Ever since Call of Duty: Black Ops was released in 2010, the map Nuketown has been a bit of staple in Treyarch’s subsequent entry’s in the series in one way or another, and it seems like Black Ops 4 might be no different. While it shouldn’t really surprise anyone, it seems like David Vonderhaar, the developer’s Game Designer Director, has hinted that the map will be making a return this October.

While replying to Adam Hoggatt, Treyarch’s Senior Level Designer, on Twitter, Vonderhaar asked him when if he remembers the time that he created Nuketown for the first, second, and third times before trailing off, hinting that we might see another iteration soon. You can check out the tweet at the end of the article.

Of course, this is by no means a confirmation, but I wouldn’t be shocked if we got one when the game releases either as a pre-order bonus, season pass bonus, or something else entirely.

Last week I was able to go out to Los Angeles and cover the game’s reveal event, as well as check out the multiplayer. You can check out my impressions by clicking here.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is set to be released on October 12, 2018, and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. If you want to pre-order the game via Amazon, you can do so by clicking here.
