Since THQ Nordic skipped E3 this year, news surrounding one of the publisher’s most highly-anticipated 2018 titles, Darksiders III, has been sparse. Thanks to a recent leak, though, we may have just figured out when we’ll finally be able to get our hands on the game.

According to a recent listing on the Microsoft Store that has since been changed, Darksiders III is scheduled to launch later this year on November 27. Normally, it’s hard to put much stock in random dates that appear on retail sites but this November 27 date does, in fact, happen to be a Tuesday which is the day that most games are still released upon. Plus, this late Fall window just seems like the right time for a game like Darksiders III to ship while still falling in line with THQ Nordic’s promise that the game would release in 2018.

Not only do these things make sense, but the Microsoft Store has had a habit of leaking release dates early as of late. Just last week, the release date for the remastered versions of Shenmue 1 & 2 appeared on the Microsoft Store a few hours before Sega made the announcement themselves.

Still, leaks like this can never be believed completely so take this information with a grain of salt. Regardless of whether or not this release date is true, it feels like we’ll receive confirmation from THQ Nordic within the next month as the publisher will be attending Gamescom in Germany.

Whenever Darksiders III does end up launching, it’ll be arriving on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. While we wait to hear official confirmation on the game’s release date, feel free to pre-order a copy of Darksiders III on Amazon right now.

Update: Gunfire Games confirmed to IGN this morning that Darksiders III will indeed be releasing on November 27 for all platforms. Three versions of the game will be released that include the standard edition for $59.99, the Collector’s Edition for $149.99 which will include the game, a Fury figurine, a premium box, a steelbook, an artbook, soundtrack, and exclusive armor DLC. Lastly, The Apocalypse Edition will cost a staggering $399.99 and will include all of the same items as the CE as well as its own premium box, a wall scroll, a 2-inch heavyweight amulet necklace, and four figurines of Fury, War, Death, and Vulgrim.
