Critical indie darling, and one of DualShocker’s 2016 game of the year nomineesDarkest Dungeon is coming to Nintendo Switch, according to a new teasing video from developer Red Hook Studios.

The Vancouver-based developer took to Twitter today to publish the following teasing tweet:

Red Hook Studios hasn’t officially come out and confirmed its hit gothic roguelike RPG about the psychological stresses of adventuring is coming to Nintendo’s new platform, but I mean come on, it’s running on the thing. And there’s even a teasing tweet about it. The real question is: when is it coming?

For those that don’t know: in Darkest Dungeon you lead a band of heroes on a perilous side-scrolling descent, dealing with a prodigious number of threats to their bodily health and a relentless assault on their mental fortitude.

Five hundred feet below the earth’s surface you will find unimaginable foes, famine, disease, and the stress of the ever-encroaching dark.

According to Red Hook Studios, Darkest Dungeon focuses on the humanity and psychological vulnerability of its heroes, and the emotional toll their life of adventure takes.

Darkest Dungeon, a former Kickstarter title, first launched via Steam Early Access on PC back in February of 2015, where it climbed to No.1 on Steam’s Top Seller chart. It then exited early access on January 19, 2016, before coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on September 27 of the same year. It is also available on iOS devices, Mac, and Linux. Notably, its first DLC, Crimson Courtreleased earlier this year.
