Nintendo has announced that 2015’s indie critical darling, Crypt of the NecroDancer, is coming to Nintendo Switch.

The news comes via Nintendo of America’s Twitter account, which also revealed that the Switch version of the game will contain exclusive new content and support local co-op.

At the moment of writing this, what this exclusive content entails is unknown.

For those that don’t know: Crypt of the NecroDancer — from developer Brace Yourself Games — is a roguelike dungeon exploration meets beat-matching rhythm game that first released for PC, Mac, and Linux in 2015, where it was one of the most well-received games, garnering an impressive 87 on Metacritic. It then came to PS4 and the ol’ PS Vita in February 2016, before hitting iOS devices in June of the same year. This trio of releases in 2016 was followed up earlier this year with an Xbox One release. And now a Switch release is coming.

A description of the game reads:

Can you survive this deadly dungeon of dance, slay the NecroDancer, and recapture your still beating heart? Or will you be a slave to the rhythm for all eternity? Players must move on the beat to navigate procedurally generated dungeons while battling dancing skeletons, zombies, dragons, and more! Groove with the game’s epic dance soundtrack, or select songs from your own MP3 collection. You can even play with a dance pad to really shake your bones!

A release date/window has not been provided, nor has a price-point, but it costs $14.99 USD on other platforms so expect a price within this ballpark.

In other recent and related news, Brace Yourself Games took an unexpected departure and announced last month a new city-builder strategy game Industries of Titan.
