Crossover Puzzle-Fighting Game Crystal Crisis for Nintendo Switch Gets New Gameplay Footage

Today, during a panel at Bitsummit held at the Miyako Messe venue in Kyoto, publisher Nicalis and developer Pikii presented their upcoming puzzle fighting game Crystal Crisis.

The gameplay showcased a fight between Atom from Tetsuwan Atom and Curly Brace from Cave Story, giving us a good look at what the game looks and plays like.

Crystal Crisis is a color-matching puzzle game that includes characters from many indie games and crosses them over against popular characters by Tatsunoko Productions like the aforementioned Atom and Black Jack.

The game certainly looks cutesy, exactly as you’d expect from a game of this genre, and anything with Black Jack is good by my book. It’ll be interesting to see how it’ll shape up from here to its launch later this year

You can check out the video below. If you want to see more, you can also enjoy the original announcement with a trailer and screenshots.

Crystal Crisis will release for Nintendo Switch this fall.
