Crackdown 3 Delayed to February 2019; Will Appear at E3

Today Microsoft released a statement to Windows Central announcing that the upcoming open-world action game Crackdown 3 has been delayed.

To be more precise, the game will (hopefully) reach the shelves in February 2019 to “ensure it delivers the experience” the fans deserve.

That being said, those who want to see more of the game won’t have to wait that long. It will still appear at E3 2018, and more precisely Microsoft will share more during its press briefing on Sunday, June 10th.

Recently, the cancellation of pre-orders on Amazon ignited fears of a cancellation, but Microsoft quickly responded that development was still ongoing.

Back in August 2017 the game was delayed to spring 2018, while a demo has been playable at various shows. Apparently, the folks at Sumo Digital now believe that it needs more time in the oven.

Like all other Microsoft-published games, Crackdown 3 is set to be part of the Xbox Game Pass service but looks like subscribers will need to wait a little longer.
