Conan Exiles is celebrating their first year since coming out of early access and the team has released a free update to celebrate. It adds quite a bit of new content and revamps some of the NPC settlements and cities. To see a quick overview of all the new stuff, check out the trailer below.

As mentioned, there is a number of things for players to dig into with this new update. Probably the biggest addition is the brand-new dungeon called The Sunken City. This underwater dungeon is intended for high-level players. You are called to the titular city by the voice of Dagon, the Deep One, who is trying to rip his way into your reality and start “an age of horror”. Players can expect plenty to earn plenty of new gear for their efforts.

Players will also be able to get new companions. After learning the Witch Doctor feat, you can build Wights and Skeleton warriors to aid your adventures through the Exiled Lands. Further, you can construct undead creatures like hyenas and lizardmen to do various tasks for you.

The update has also revamped a number of the game’s capitals. You’ll notice some population adjustments throughout the game, along with some new content. Many places have gotten their loot pools changed. Thus, you’ll need to visit them again to get all the sweet new loot. Also, places like the Volcano have had new bosses added for players to test their mettle.

Conan Exiles is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. If you haven’t already purchased the game, developer Funcom is running a free weekend on Steam from May 9-13.
