Today Bandai Namco Entertainment released a brand new trailer of its upcoming Souls-like action-JRPG Code Vein.

The trailer features Yakumo Shinonome, who is one of the AI-driven buddies that will follow the hero (or heroine) around in the game’s story and provide support during battles and in dungeons.

Yakumo is a former soldier, and he is searching for his former companions, who he considered like family. He is a definitely strong warrior and can rip enemies apart with his Hounds blood veil.

You can check out the trailer below. If you want to see more, you can also check out another trailer featuring Mia Karnsteina ton of gameplay from a couple of weeks ago, another trailer, and a recent gallery of screenshots. The game will be playable at Gamescom in August.

Code Vein will release in Japan on September 27th. The western release will follow just one day later on September 28th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you want to grab a copy, can already pre-order it on Amazon.
