Catherine: Full Body Gets New Screenshots Showing Waifus, Difficulty Levels, and More on Famitsu

Catherine: Full Body, News, Originals, Platforms, PS Vita, PS4

Today’s issue of Weekly Famitsu included a large gallery of screenshots of Catherine: Full Body, the remake of the PS3 cult classic Catherine by Atlus.

Besides taking a good look at the three Catherines (Catherine, Katherine, and the new entry, Rin), we get some more information about the game and we take a look at multiplayer.

Interestingly, there is a new feature that lets you change the voice of Catherine, as she is pretty much an embodiment of Vincent’s own taste. Of course, you can enjoy the original voice by Miyuki Sawashiro, but the game also includes a track voiced by Mamiko Noto (Zeliska in Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet). DLCs will bring the total of voice options to a whopping 11.

Puzzles will get new levels of difficulty to tweak your own experience to your liking. “Standard” is the same level as the original game. You can also choose Safety, Easy, and Hard.

The “Safety” mode has been designed for those who want to enjoy the story with no hassle. Puzzles have no traps and no time limit, and you can even skip them. You can also activate the autoplay that will lead you through the shortest possible route.

We also learn that there are 500 stages in the game, which is over twice as many as the original Catherine.

You can check out the images below, keeping in mind that they come from magazine scans, so the quality isn’t perfect. If you want to see more, you can enjoy the latest trailer from E3, the original announcement trailer and the first batch of screenshot.

Catherine: Full Body will release in Japan for PS4 and PS Vita on Thursday, February 14th, 2019, right in time for Valentine’s Day. There is no release date of confirmed platforms for the west, even if we do know that it’s coming.
