Atlus opened today a teaser website for a new title named Catherine: Full Body.
Apparently, this is a remaster/remake for PS4 and PS Vita of the original Catherine for PS3 and Xbox 360, but details are scarce. The most relevant officially-announced data is the fact that it will be for Sony’s home and portable consoles.
The actual reveal will come on this week’s Weekly Famitsu magazine, and during a livestream on Nico Nico to be hosted on December 22nd, at 7:30 PM Japan time.
More information was provided by Famitsu itself, mentioning that the game is in development by Katsura Hashino’s Studio Zero. Apparently, there will be additional content, including a “third Catherine,” that you can see in the image at the bottom of the post. On the menu are also new scenes and development for the original two heroines, Catherine and Katherine.
The actual name of the “new Catherine” and more info will be revealed on Famitsu, but she will have a different personality and atmosphere compared to Catherine and Katherine
The original Catherine was released for PS3 and Xbox 360 in Japan and North America and Japan in 2011, followed by a launch in Europe in 2012. if you’re unfamiliar with the game, you can check out our review.
