Inertia Game Studios, who are based in Cambridgeshire, UK, has revealed that its interstellar party game Catastronauts is set to land safely on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 28th. Not wanting to leave the evergrowing Nintendo Switch out, of course, so a launch for that will happen later this year.

Catastronauts is a fast and turbulent couch co-op adventure where you and your friends take on the role of an intergalactic Starfleet locked in an epic battle with an invading enemy vessel and unrelenting disaster. Using your coordination and decision-making skills you must repair systems across the deck, extinguishing fires and arming rockets, all in the process of not killing your buddies, this really could be a friendship destroyer!

Each level includes different challenges like malfunctioning extraction doors that can inhale crewmembers out into space and keep away from those solar flares, unless you enjoy yourself extra crispy, that is.

Inertia Game Studios will be present at EGX 2018 at The NEC in Birmingham, England from the 20th – 23rd September if you would like to get an early hands-on with the final version of the game ahead of its launch at the end of the month.

Catastronauts launches on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 28th. It will be priced at £12.79 ($16.72) on both the PSN Store & Xbox Store and £12.39 ($16.20) on Steam.
