The official Capcom Store Tokyo, is heading toward its grand opening in Shibuya PARCO 6F on Friday, November 22nd. The brand new merch store will sell perfume sets of various Capcom IPs such as Monster Hunter, Devil May Cry, Toraware no Palm -Refrain, and Ace Attorney. The perfume sets will be sold as commemorative items to celebrate the opening:

Prices for almost all sets are 5,800 yen + tax each, with the exception of the Ace Attorney series Lawyer collection that will go for 4,200 yen + tax instead (due to it only containing two bottles).

Capcom Store Toyko will also be featuring some special items previously sold at Capcom Cafe, which will be revealed later on. Other merchandise that will be for sale include:

There are two other grand openings in the area set for the same date as of now: Pokemon Center Shibuya and Nintendo Tokyo.

In other Capcom news, after some testing and teasing in August Capcom officially revealed 4v1 Resident Evil spin-off Project Resistance during this year’s Tokyo Game Show. Project Resistance is an asymmetric multiplayer game where four players cooperate to escape a building where everything is controlled by the Mastermind, a fifth player.

Generally Capcom has been on a roll. Key franchises have posted extremely good reviews and sales numbers: from Devil May Cry to Resident Evil to Monster Hunter and Mega Man, everything Capcom touches seems to turn to gold (except for Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite). And in a recent fiscal report, the company also expressed interest in awakening “dormant intellectual properties.” This may includes titles such as Darkstalkers 4, Dino Crisis 4, Final Fight, and possibly Ōkami 2Viewtiful Joe 3, and a new Rival Schools title.

In particular Monster Hunter World: Iceborne shipped 2.8 million units in its first month on the market, helping drive solid profits for the developer and publisher. This coincides with the base game eclipsing the 14 million mark in total units sold.
