Just two days ago Call of Duty: Warzone began its third season of content that most importantly added the highly anticipated quads mode allowing a team of four to squad up and get into the thick of it. According to VG247, developer Infinity Ward removed trios mode in turn quickly leading to negative feedback from the community with there still being no duos mode, trios is the closest that a party of two can play with the least amount of strangers on their team. Trios was also the original mode available at launch before solos and quads were added later down the road. Along with that good news, the team announced on Twitter today that Call of Duty: Warzone has reached 50 million players. While the fastest record on reaching that number of players for Battle Royale still stands with Apex Legends, that is still an impressive feat.

To no surprise, Call of Duty: Warzone has continued to popularize since its launch and our own Call of Duty fan on staff Tanner Pierce loves the new battle royale tooCall of Duty: Warzone managed to achieve 30 million players just 10 days after launch and has continued to be one of the most played games currently on the market. We have also received rumors regarding what Call of Duty has planned this year involving a reimagining of Call of Duty: Black Ops. On top of all that, we got the notorious Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered out right now.

You know, 2020 has been a pretty terrible year so far, but it is a good year to be a Call of Duty fan that’s for sure.
