Yesterday’s Gamescom Opening Night Live included some new surprises for fans of smaller franchises. One of those was the reveal of Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead. The footage was mostly a live-action trailer that didn’t show off much of the game. Give it a look below, if you missed it.

Fans of the franchise will know that this is the second instance of the team adding in a popular IP. Previously, ClockStone partnered with Portal for some truly wild gameplay. It’ll be interesting to see what the team does with The Walking Dead property outside of including some fan-favorite characters.

What we do know is that you’ll be teaming up with people like Daryl, Michonne, and Eugene during your journey. You’ll need to build bridges to get your team to safety, while also cleverly trapping zombies. Personally, I can’t wait to see what they come up with. The Walking Dead doesn’t sound like it would fit with Bridge Constructor when you first think about it. However, I’m confident the team can pull it off.

Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead is set to launch later this year on PC. Given that they’ve brought the other games to several other platforms, it won’t be surprising if this shows up everywhere soon.
