Playdius announced today that the multiplayer hectic racer BAFL – Brakes Are For Losers will launch on the Nintendo Switch eShop on April 19 for $4.99.
BAFL – Brakes Are For Losers is a top-down racing arcade game that features the look and feel of classic Nintendo racers. However, the game adds a new feature that completely takes away the need for breaks. Players can drift and make use of the other cars on turns, but in the end, it will be as hectic as you’d imagine.
BAFL – Brakes Are For Losers also has a solo campaign with a range of AI difficulties and modes such as Time Attack or Perfect Race. Each track has a retro pop culture theme with humorous details that nostalgic players will take notice of.
The Nintendo Switch version will also support up to 8-players on the same screen, with local multiplayer options only.
Additionally, Playdius released a new trailer that gives players a preview of the gameplay and some of the levels such as a Caribbean island and a stage set on the moon.
BAFL – Brakes Are For Losers was originally released on PC-via Steam in 2017.
