Adventure Time‘s Finn and Jake are coming back to consoles next year in Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion. The new game will tell an original story within one of Cartoon Network’s most popular animated series.

Developed by Outright Games (makers of Ben 10 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC), Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion will begin with the many kingdoms of the show’s setting — the Land of Ooo — mysteriously flooding. Players will take control of Jake (the dog), Finn (the human), Marceline, and BMO as they investigate the enigma in their newly constructed boat.

In addition to a brand new story, Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion will allow players to recruit characters to join their crew as they explore the open world of the Land of Ooo. Throughout the adventure, players will also interrogate characters for clues and engage in tactical combat. There will also be “Hero progression,” but few details have been revealed about it as well as the game’s other features.

Lastly, starting December 15, Outright Games will hold a “Name Our Boat” competition where they will choose one of the proposed monikers to give to Finn and Jake’s vessel. Submissions will close on January 2nd, 2018 at 10 a.m. PST. Afterwards, a poll will take place between January 5th and 10th where you can vote between the top four names chosen by the developer via Facebook.

Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC in Spring 2018. You can check out some screenshots and cover shots of the new title below:
