A Plague Tale: Innocence Trailer Shows that Humans Can be Monsters Too

A Plague Tale: Innocence for PC, PS4, Xbox One from Asobo Studio and Focus Home Interactive will finally be releasing in just over a week. To build up more anticipation in the lead up to the game’s launch, a new trailer was released for the game that shines a light on the human enemies Amicia and Hugo will run into during their journey.

The central concept behind the trailer, aptly titled “Monsters” is that while the swarms of deadly rats are the focal point of A Plague Tale: Innocence, the human opponents the main siblings face are even worse. Namely, this trailer briefly highlights the brigands, English army soldiers, and the Inquisition forces players will run into.

When it comes to the Inquisition, “Monsters” specifically hones in on two characters: Vitalis and Lord Nicholas. Vitalis is the leader of the Inquisition forces, while Lord Nicholas is the intimidating commander of the forces going after Amicia and Hugo. He will be the human opponent players run into most, likely serving as the most life threatening force when rats aren’t around.

You can check out the new “Monsters” trailer below. A Plague Tale: Innocence is coming out for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on May 14, 2019 and can currently be pre-ordered on Amazon.
