Today at Tokyo Game Show’s 2017 PlayStation Press Conference, a brand new trailer was revealed for A Certain Magical Virtua-On. While it is still unclear if the game will be coming West, we do know that Japanese audiences will be able to play it early on next year on PS4 and PlayStation Vita.
SEGA teased half a year ago that they would be making a crossover game between the A Certain Magical Index light novel and SEGA’s series, Cyber Troopers: Virtual-On. Originally teased for a 2018 release date on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The latest trailer clarified that — we will be seeing the game release on February 15, 2018 in Japan on both consoles.
For those out of the loop, A Certain Magical Virtual-On will be taking place in the A Certain Magical Index universe where people happen to play Cyber Troopers: Virtual-On — a fact that later devolves the world into crisis when people start piloting Virtuaroids mechs.
As noted above, A Certain Magical Virtual-On will release exclusively for PS4 and PlayStation Vita on February 15, 2018; there is no indication whether the game will be coming West yet. While the TGS trailer isn’t currently available, check out the teaser trailer (courtesy of YouTuber CosmicNava):
