Super Smash Bros. Ultimate already earned its name with an absolutely massive character roster spanning the entire history of Nintendo, but starting tomorrow, a new character is going to steal our hearts with the game’s first DLC character, Persona 5‘s Joker.

Nintendo has officially announced that Joker from Persona 5 will debut in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on April 17–tomorrow–as part of the game’s Ver. 3.0. update.

Alongside the confirmation of Joker’s debut in the character roster, Nintendo also shared several new screenshots showing the Persona 5 protagonist in action, and a lengthy 15-minute-long video that breaks down Joker’s abilities and more.

The video also highlights that Mementos will be the Persona series stage that is added to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, with the stage changing its appearance based on the music that is being played from other entries in the series, such as Persona 3 and Persona 4. 11 new music tracks are also being added to Ultimate‘s soundtrack from across Persona 3-5.

Along with the introduction of Joker to the game starting tomorrow, the Ver 3.0. update will also introduce a number of new features to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate including the previously-rumored Stage Builder, a Video Editor feature, a Shared Content section where players can share and download custom content from other players, and a new feature for the Nintendo Switch Online mobile app called Smash World where players can browse through custom content and more.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is available exclusively on Nintendo Switch. For a closer look at Persona 5‘s Joker as he enters the fight, you can check out the new images and video below:
